today was busy and jam-packed with good things - a trip to the bakery, a walk with my parents, bible study with a good friend during nap time then a dinner shared with friends and their kids - i am living my ideal life right now.

it was the first time in a year and a half to go to church sans child - although it was nice to sit through a whole sermon uninterrupted, but i must admit i missed my little clapping sidekick during worship.

he woke up crying at 5:45am then fell back asleep until we woke him up for church at 9 - unfortunately my suspicions were correct and he woke up congested - runny noses mean no sunday school so we bummed around the house instead.

met a work friend and her adorable daughter for an early breakfast then on the way home, saw my mom walking her dogs, so i followed her home and we took micah for a walk to the park - a pleasant way to spend a friday morning.

i've spent the morning trying to teach micah to not scream "hi mea!" at the dog at the top of his lungs - attempts have so far failed.
